Beautiful bag. Shipping to the netherlands was arround 2/3 weeks and had to pay 18 euro for customs. I am rally happy with the bag ca. not wait to use it!
The Porto is wonderful, very handsom and good quality, but the color was not as dark as I thought.
I wasn’t a 100% convinced I would love this as much as I do. And when they come back in stock again, I will definitely be buying another one. It’s got just the right amount of pockets. I do think inside it should have one full length pocket on one side and the two pockets that it’s got on the other side. But that’s the only way, for me, it could be improved. Or maybe it could be a bit deeper as well so that you could just fit another pen case or notebook inside. But that’s just me trying to make it perfect for what I want to use it for, which is why I need another one.
There’s nothing negative, whatsoever, that I can say which is why I’ve decided to just comment on how it could be more perfect for me. It’s a really lovely bag/case. I did buy both straps because I wasn’t sure which I would use. However, the only one I’ve used, so far, is the wristlet strap. But, I am glad I got the two, options and all that!

Fantastic quality, I have the olive, love the colour specifically for Autumn and winter. Zip and stitches really sturdy and well done.
My only observation, if you make more, maybe a bit bigger. Only a bit more, so you can comfortably fit a bit more. BUT I love it! Use it all the time.

I have had my eye on The Porto by Lorton and Horn for a while now but they sold out very quickly both times I tried. This time I was super quick off the mark and ‘bagged’ myself one! I am so glad I did! It’s absolutely beautiful and going to make such a difference to my ‘wandering journalling’ experience! It has so many pockets, with specific ones for pens, and I ordered both straps so that I could have more options. The leather is beautiful and I can’t wait to set it up properly and make it mine! I honestly feel so blessed to be able to have one and just know it will go on many an adventure with me. I’m also going to be able to fit in my sock knitting too so I can do both! I have never got on with cross body bags - never found one with enough room for all the things I carry around. Enter the Porto - what a game changer. Looks good , practical and I’ve got my hands free at last. Highly recommended!

I’ll be the first to admit I was 100% influenced to buy this bag. I saw it on Instagram and immediately wanted one. But they were sold out. Some time later, I saw on Instagram that L&H would be restocking a limited batch and I literally set my alarm for the release. So happy I did because this is the best, most perfect journal purse I have ever owned. And the quality of the leather and craftsmanship is excellent. That leather smell, tho….i cant stop sniffing my Porto. Weird? I don’t care. Highly recommend this shop and their products.
This is a great bag and one I have been looking out for. It is beautifully made inside and out. I really like the external pockets, just right for easy access to pens, notebooks and the like. I am also pleased to find my medium travel organiser fits neatly inside, making it an ideal and compact bag for meetings and conferences.
The leather is georgeous and soft. It’s perfect to carry my ipad and a notebook plus pen!
This is a bag for people who need to carry stuff. A proper amount of properly sized pockets, with a sturdy strap and robust zips.

This exceeded my expectations! I can fit my B5 journal in the bag with all sorts of other items: pens, washi tape, ephemera, etc, for planning and journaling on the go. There are lots of pockets which are so useful. The long strap is adjustable and goes well with the bag. I love it and I’m sure I’ll be making other purchases from Lorton & Horn.
I absolutely love this bag. It’s big enough to fit my A5 diary and kindle, yet small enough to be practical and not too heavy. The classic tan goes with everything and I use many of my existing colourful straps to coordinate with my outfits.
Love this little organiser bag I can get my diary and kindle and bits and bobs and pens all in it and know where everything is. The quality is superb it smells amazing it’s just fab and I love it would highly recommend this to anyone.
